It can be tricky to navigate which road to take sometimes, and that’s where we step in.  Awhi Ora consists of trained support workers from a collaborative network of health and wellbeing organisations.  We’re here to walk alongside you during the difficult times in your life.  We come from a range of different cultures, but we live local just like you.

If the Awhi Ora- Supporting Wellbeing service is provided from your general practice you can ask to be introduced.  If Awhi Ora - Supporting Wellbeing is not available from your general practice provider, and if you live in Auckland or Waitemata District Health Board (DHB) areas then you can simply contact one of the team below.

Ember-Korowai Takitini provides wrap around services to support you and your whānau to hold hope, ignite possibilities and find your own light again.

 

Ember Community Support Services deliver community based mental health and wellbeing support in the greater Auckland region across both Auckland DHB and Waitemata DHB.

Mind & Body Consultants is a peer organisation who deliver peer support and advocacy services to people whose lives are affected by mental distress and addiction.  Peer support workers walk alongside people and engage in meaningful conversations and relationships that supports mutual learning.

Te Kotuku Ki Te Rangi Charitable Trust

Te Kotuku Ki Te Rangi Charitable Trust is a Kaupapa Maori Organisation who support Māori and non-Māori.  The philosophy of Kotuku Ki Te Rangi towards health is based on a holistic health framework, Te Whare Tapa Wha.  Te Whare Tapa Wha represents four approaches to life and wellbeing - Te Taha Whanau (family) Te Taha Wairua (spirituality) Te Taha Hinegaro (mind) and Te Taha Tinana (physical).

​Te Whānau o Waipareira

Te Whānau o  Waipareira is situated in Henderson, West Auckland and provides a suite of services (health, education, social and justice) for whānau to wraparound them and their needs, goals and aspirations.  All of our services are underpinned by whānau ora philosophy and  focuses on whānau well-being.

Working alongside whānau we identify their challenges and aspirations and collaboratively develop a plan to address and achieve these.  We believe in rangatiratanga or self-determination and whānau determine how services should be received by them.
